First, set up your table. Figure out how many guests you will need to seat and make sure you have enough chairs. Try to provide a kids table if needed so that you have extra space at the main table
Get out your finest china. Check every piece to ensure that it is in good condition. If it is white or other neutral color, you will be able to choose from a large color scheme. If it has detail or is colorful, try to match it with Christmas colors. Solid colors would be very helpful here.
Make your color choice for your table cloth. Gold will give your table the most elegant look but you may also go with any Christmas colors. Try to avoid patterned prints. There is going to be a lot going on and you don’t want any clashing.
Buy some napkin rings to put your cloth napkins in. There is a wide variety you can find including snowflakes, wreaths, holly etc… You can even find a simple design with a few gemstones for some extra shine!
Now that you have chosen the main colors, you should start thinking about your centerpiece. This is how you can easily tie all of your colors together. You can make your centerpiece as elaborate or as simple as you would like. Spread colored glass marbles on your table in the center for some extra sparkle. Be as creative as you want here.
